Meet the Team

Tony Child - Principal Technician

Tony has over 50 years’ experience working in the electrical industry. At the early age of 15, he began his apprenticeship with Percival’s Electrical Contractors in Gerrards Cross. Upon completion he worked alongside a plumbing engineer and also gained valuable skills and experience in the plumbing sector. After marrying Louise (and with a growing family of four young sons) Tony moved on to work in the printing and paper industry for Harrison’s and Sons as an electrical engineer. This role required an exceptional knowledge of electromechanical machinery. Ever eager to improve his education, Tony went on to complete an HNC in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. In 2003, following the closure of Harrison’s, Tony re-entered the world of contracting, bringing his qualifications up to standard and far beyond. Initially starting on his own, Tony has seen the business grow from strength to strength, now, thirteen years later we have 4 on the team. Tony is proud to say that TLC4YOU is a small company with a big heart.

Louise Child - Office Manager

Louise, in parallel with her own successful musical career as both teacher and performer, has provided (at the heart of any business) the never ending task of administration and keeping the team up to date. In addition Louise is Musical Director for Wycombe Orpheus Male Voice Choir and TLC4YOU are proud sponsors of the Young Musicians’ Festival held annually in High Wycombe.

Luke Child - Senior Technician

Luke started his working life completing a modern apprenticeship in Light Vehicle Mechanical Tech as part of the Arriva franchise, and is always very” hands on”  and keen to learn new skills. Having been in the motor trade for 10 years (and following the closure of MG Rover) Luke was looking for a new challenge and came to work alongside Tony. He is now a fully qualified electrician with another apprenticeship under his belt.

Luke both designs and installs bespoke kitchens and bathrooms and there are many supportive accreditations from satisfied clients to this effect.

Sam Simpson - Electrician

Sam left sixth form at 18 with some impressive grades to see him in good stead for the working path ahead. He joined the team in December 2012 he completed his apprenticeship to gain a level 3 certificate in Electro-technical Technology. Both cheerful and polite Sam is eager to learn and has made a great addition to our team.
